“I had a lot of mixed feeling about this feglines about the finale. Some parts were good other parts didn't seem to work but overall I'm very satisfied with it. The flash sideways reveal. At first that bothered me because I said that when Lost ended I wanted closure/resolution and I mistakingly assumed that Closure/resolution and Happy Ending were the same thing. They aren't, I realise that now and I'm OK with the ending for the most part. Cause the flash sideways was the end for everyone. They were at peace, they were happy and content and they moved on and getting to know that is satisfying. The two things that will really bug me and I'm not sure if I will ever be able to let go. 1: This whole season all the events on the island were leading up to stopping The Man in Black getting off the island because if he did then the world is in some serious trouble. They said the island prevents hell from escaping, they introduced the source and if it went out then it went out everywhere.But it was all so ambiguous and far too vague and convoluted about the subject, I'm still not entirely sure as to what was gonna happen if The man in Black succeeded. If anything. I suppose being huge Buffy/Angel fan which were the shows that best established the Apocalypse formula this is a little jarring to me. 2: Because they didn't properly establish the explanation of the”
