All Faith quotes John Calvin’s page

John Calvin paints faith as a steady hope that holds fast even when life tests us, like gold in a furnace. He says prayer is the main way we practice that trust, and humility is the first step toward true understanding. Faith, then, is an open hand reaching toward God, offering nothing but receiving everything.
