Faith in Christ, according to Lewis, means trying to do everything He says, not just believing. He describes the act of surrendering one’s whole self—wishes and precautions—to Christ as the core of Christianity. Lewis also explains that Christ’s death is seen as a fresh start that puts us right with God.
