About Tom Robbins
His novel Even Cowgirls Get the Blues was turned into a 1993 film directed by Gus Van Sant. His last book, Tibetan Peach Pie, was published in 2014 and he described it as an un‑memoir. From 1970 onward, he lived in La Conner, Washington, where he wrote nine of his books.
