About Pierre Teilhard de Chardin

He wrote scientific and religious books that combined ideas from Henri Bergson and Christian mysticism. His paleontological work in China included the find of important Peking Man remains at the Zhoukoudian cave near Beijing. He also proposed a vitalist idea called the Omega Point, which some critics called pseudoscientific, and he worked with Vladimir Vernadsky on the concept of the noosphere.
