About Henry Hazlitt
Henry Stuart Hazlitt was an American journalist, economist, and philosopher who spent more than seventy years writing about business, economics, and public policy. He contributed articles to The Wall Street Journal, The Nation, The American Mercury, Newsweek, and The New York Times. Hazlitt advocated free‑market ideas and classical liberal principles, and his most famous work is the 1946 book Economics in One Lesson, which reflects the Austrian school of economics and argues that individual liberty is essential for good economic decision‑making.
