About Edward McKendree Bounds
E.M. Bounds was an American author, attorney and Methodist clergyman who wrote many books, most of them about prayer. He wrote 11 books, eight of which focused on prayer, but only two were published before he died. After his death, Rev. Claudius Lysias Chilton Jr. preserved his manuscripts, and by 1921 Homer W. Hodge completed further editorial work.
