About Annie Dillard

Annie Dillard is an American author who writes narrative prose in fiction and nonfiction. She won the 1975 Pulitzer Prize for General Nonfiction for her 1974 book Pilgrim at Tinker Creek. In addition to that book, Dillard has published poetry, essays, literary criticism, two novels and a memoir. From 1980 she taught English at Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut for 21 years.
