“Merciful God, comfort and heal all those who suffer in body, mind, or spirit; give them courage and hope in their troubles, and bring them to the joy of your salvation.¨ Grant that those who do not yet believe, and those who have lost their faith may receive the light of the Gospel. We pray that you grant all people deliverance from all danger, violence, oppression, and degradation so that we may end our lives in faith and hope, without ¨suffering and without reproach. Receive Lord all who have died in the hope of the resurrection, and those whose faith is known to you alone, that, with all the ¨saints, they may have rest in that place where there is no pain or grief, but life eternal.
